This is an image that reflects my positive state of mind when I painted it. The woman is looking directly out, which is symbolic of being very much in the present moment. The open window, and the butterfly floating in represents transition, and freedom of choice. The colors in the image are all of my favorites, as well as the roses, which are my favorite flower. I really did this painting for the sole purpose of creating something beautiful and pleasing to my own eye.
