This image is called Dream, because it feels like just that: a dreamlike quality to the lighting and subject in the piece. A woman stands at the water's edge, and as she gazes out to sea there's no distinction between the horizon and the water. There's a story here, as there is with almost all of my paintings, and it's up to the viewer to tell that story.

It starts with an extremely high resolution, detailed scanning of Susan's original artwork which is captured into a digital file. Then the giclee print is created using specialized printers. The printed canvas is then stretched across wooden stretcher bars and then held in place with staples on the back, thereby hiding the staples when the art is hung on the wall. The 3/4" wrapped edges give a beautiful, finished look from any angle without the need of a frame.
