I love painting women on the beach, and this is the newest one. "Memories" is a woman standing by a rocky shoreline, and when you view the image, you wonder what she's thinking. I almost always have my own stories about my paintings, and I think the title of this one tells a story. I know what I think, but it's up to you, the viewer, to imagine your own story behind this piece.

It starts with an extremely high resolution, detailed scanning of Susan's original artwork which is captured into a digital file. Then the giclee print is created using specialized printers. The printed canvas is then stretched across wooden stretcher bars and then held in place with staples on the back, thereby hiding the staples when the art is hung on the wall. The 3/4" wrapped edges give a beautiful, finished look from any angle without the need of a frame.
