Snowy Owl Miniature Framed Print
"Snowy Owl" starts with a miniature print made from the original painting I did. Then I "highlight" the print, by taking my acrylic paints and enhancing areas of the image.
In this piece, I also added the "Christmas Star", and the snow. So each piece is embellished by hand, each one is a little different. It's hand signed on the front, and signed and titled
on the back.
The image is finished with two coats of non-yellowing varnish, to protect the piece and bring out the colors. In addition, the Christmas Star is touched with fine iridescent glitter,
so it catches the light and sparkles.
The frame is also hand painted to go with the image, and is finished with the varnish. The frame measures 4 1/8"x 3 3/8".
The framed piece comes in an organza drawstring bag, and the little easel is included, for you to display your miniature.
