"Irish Cottage" is a miniature made from the original painting I did. Once I make the print, I highlight areas of the image with acrylic paints, then sign the piece. It's finished with two coats of non-yellowing varnish, to seal the art and bring out the colors. I really love miniatures, and I love creating these small pieces. I hand paint the frame to go with the image. In this case, I wanted the frame to look aged - like a frame you'd find in an attic, or at a flea market. The frame is also finished with the varnish.
The piece is titled and signed again on the back.
The frame measures 4 1/8" x 3 5/8".
Comes in a drawstring organza bag, along with the small wood easel, to display the art.
