English Rose Miniature Framed Art
English Rose is a romantic miniature print, made from the original painting I did. Delicate petals and gentle shading give this piece a classic, graceful presence—perfect for lovers of floral art and cottage-inspired décor.
Measuring 4 1/4"x 3 3/8", I create each piece by highlighting the paper print with acrylic paints, bringing out areas of the piece, and giving each a personal touch. Then I hand sign and coat the image with two coats of non-yellowing varnish, to protect it, and bring out the colors. The print is backed with illustration board. The piece is signed, and also signed and titled on the back.
I hand paint the frame to go with the image, and then finish it with the varnish as well. Its petite size makes it ideal for a bedside table, shelf, desk, or gallery wall, adding a quiet touch of elegance wherever it’s placed.
